Justin Jefferson is a Minnesota Vikings wide receiver (#18) and one of the NFL’s elite pass catchers. Drafted 22nd overall in the 2020 NFL Draft out of LSU — where he was part of the 2019 national championship team alongside Joe Burrow and fellow first-round receiver Ja’Marr Chase, one of the most talent-dense college offenses in recent memory — Jefferson immediately became a franchise cornerstone and one of the most collected modern players in the hobby, and was named NFL Offensive Player of the Year for 2022. (Draft position, the 2019 LSU national championship and the 2022 OPOY award per his Wikipedia biography, read 24 August 2026.)
Where his catalogue stands now. Panini held the exclusive NFL and NFLPA licence from 2016 through the 2025 season — so every Jefferson rookie is a Panini card — and Fanatics-owned Topps holds it from 2026. His current-era base cards, read off the published checklists: 2025 Panini Prizm #81, 2025 Donruss #242, 2025 Panini National Treasures #65 /99, and 2025 Topps Chrome #195 — his first licensed Topps cards, released 15 April 2026.
He signs on both sides of that licence change, which is not true of every star: 2025 Topps Chrome carries a Base Auto BA-JJ and Chromographs CG-JJ, while 2025 Prizm has a Base Auto Prizm Silver #81 and 2025 National Treasures has Signatures #5 /99 and Gladiators Holo Gold Signatures #24 /10.
Career at a glance
- 2020 (rookie year): broke the Vikings’ rookie receiving record with over 1,400 yards and earned a Pro Bowl nod as a first-year player.
- 2022 (his signature season): led the NFL in receiving yards with 1,809, was named First-Team All-Pro, and won AP Offensive Player of the Year — the high-water mark of his career so far and the most significant non-rookie year in his card catalog.
- 2023: a hamstring injury cut his season short, interrupting the counting-stats climb.
- 2024 and on: returned to form and signed a contract extension that made him the highest-paid non-quarterback in NFL history, with multiple Pro Bowl selections across his career and a reputation as one of the league’s most precise route runners.
